Wayne Clark began bass fishing as a child in North Carolina. By age ten, he was experienced enough to create his own lure, fashioning its spinner out of an old tin can. As Clark matured, he took up carving in his spare time. Since 2001, Wayne Clark began experimenting with his own line of custom-made lures. These lures are made of cypress and hand-turned on a lathe. Clark says his lures not only look authentic; they are. “You can really catch fish with them”, he states. “For me, the whole process of creating the lures is fun. For me, it really is all about having a good time.”
