I Can See All Obstacles In My Way
Resort Spa Exhibitions Gallery
Sally Heller is a multi-media artist who assembles a range of everyday materials and cultural castoffs into fully immersive environments. Through knitting, knotting and twisting Heller transforms low-end consumer goods such as pipe cleaners, netting, wiffle balls, plastic ware, conveyor belt fragments and string to address issues of disposability, language, materialism, and femininity. Heller has shown her work throughout the US and has attended residencies both here and abroad. She lives and works in New Orleans, Louisiana.
